First Aid at Work Annual Refresher Training | RQF Level 3

The content covered in the Annual First Aid Refresher Course may vary depending on the specific training provider or certifying body, but it typically includes the following components:

1. Review of Basic First Aid Concepts: Participants will review the fundamental principles of first aid, including the assessment of the scene and the safety of the rescuer, the primary survey, and the principles of ABC (Airway, Breathing, Circulation) in assessing and managing emergencies.
2. CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Update: Participants will refresh their knowledge and skills in performing CPR and using an AED to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies.

Although it is not mandatory, the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) strongly recommend that qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders undertake an annual refresher course in order to keep their skills up-to-date and refreshed.This three hour annual refresher course has been designed to meet that requirement and will help First Aiders to maintain their skills and knowledge whilst also keeping up-to-date with any changes to protocols.
