Introduction At Madeleys First Aid Ltd, we understand the importance of safeguarding our clients' personal data in the UK. What type of information do we have?
Madeleys First Aid Ltd deliver first-aid training courses tailored to our client's needs. The courses are available to individuals, businesses in any industry, or a community group. The classes are designed to save lives and prevent injuries. Experienced and qualified instructors deliver all courses as we are expected to follow the latest UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines.The website Contact Us Form will request a Name, Email Address and a brief message regarding the course content, time, date, and venue queries. The online form allows clients to contact us outside of working hours; therefore, we will contact the named person within the next working day.The website allows clients to ‘Book’ a course; then, they will be provided with available timeslots, duration, course details and prices, and further information. The final stage allows the client to make a payment with a PDF copy of the receipt.

What do we do with the information?
The data provided will be utilised for conducting our training programs, as we will need to generate certified certificates upon completing the course. The certificate will feature the candidate's name, spelt correctly, along with the level of their qualification (level 2 or 3).All client information will be kept confidential and shared only with our freelance team and the designated First Aid Awarding Body (FAA), enabling auditors to verify that we comply with industry standards. The freelance team will require the information as they must deliver the course online or in person. In case of any issues, clients will be notified promptly.

The website uses cookies to monitor and track the performance of what clients are looking for. These cookies do not collect any personal information, but they do track the pages you visit and whether you repeatedly visit the same page. How do we store your information?
Madeleys First Aid Ltd has implemented a secure system to store client information, including electronic encrypted files in the cloud or paper documents locked away. However, the company endeavours to minimise paper use in the office and encourage electronic notes instead.Retaining personal data will be for 3 years, in line with the expiry date of the training qualification. The training must be repeated to ensure certification is valid for the next 3 years. All information stored will be valid for a specific timeframe, and then it will be required to be deleted. The other information that will remain will be the invoices, as we are expected to store them for 7 years, which is required by HMRC. However, if the information has been used for any legal evidence, then we will need to store the information for longer.
